Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, maintain, and disclose information collected from users (each, a "User") of the Heartyframe app. It applies to the Heartyframe product and the services we offer.

Data collection

When you create an account, Heartyframe collects the information you provide during registration: your email address, first and last name, and username. We also store a securely hashed version of your password. This information is used to create and operate your account, authenticate you, and let your friends find and connect with you.

When you use the app, Heartyframe also collects a Device Vendor ID — an anonymous device identifier — to improve the software and its features, and processes the photos, videos, and messages you choose to share in order to deliver them to your friends.

Heartyframe does not collect your phone numbers or your contacts. If you grant contacts access, your contacts are used only on your device (see “Contacts” below) and are never uploaded to our servers.

Contacts

If you grant Heartyframe access to your contacts, we use them only on your device to show which of your contacts you can invite to Heartyframe. Your contacts are processed entirely on-device and are never uploaded to our servers, stored by us, or shared with any third party.

We do not sell, trade, or rent Heartyframe users' data to third parties.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at our discretion at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage Users to review this page regularly to stay informed about how we protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and to be aware of any modifications.

Your acceptance of these terms

By using the Heartyframe app, you signify your acceptance of this policy and our terms of service. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use the Heartyframe app. Your continued use of the app following the posting of any changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
